Hurley

By the time Hurley found his way to rescue the world had already been too unkind to him. Unable to shake his past demons Hurley needed to be rescued from himself and was peacefully laid to rest in perhaps the only act of kindness this poor dog ever received.

I usually don't comment on deviantart but whenever your work comes up (and i'm so glad you're back!) i want to, just to... i don't know, let you know how wonderful your work is. i'm sure you hear it a lot, but if not, please let me tell you that your work is so beautiful. i don't know much about artistic technical terms, but i can say that your pieces convey all the love and heartbreak, hope and hopelessness that comes with loving pitbulls. i am just so full of admiration for you, and i hope that i can find a way to further the pitbull cause as personally and as well as you do. over time, i also hope to add to the piece of yours i already own. your work is so amazing! i guess i just wanted to say thank you.

No, but working with the pit bull rescue we get to see the worst (and the best) parts of a dogs life.

I worked with an animal rescue for awhile back in my hometown. There's a lot of heart breaking things that happen to animals. It's really sad.
